Paid family leave is on the agenda for 2018, but not everyone’s happy about it.

The Federal Government has been discussing paid family leave legislation for some time, with a bill expected in the next year.
The government has already begun to roll out paid family leaves, which are paid by the employee and covered by their employer.
The program will provide two weeks of paid leave for every year of service.
Employers who provide paid family and medical leave will also be able share the benefits.
The family medical leaves will also include a $1,000 deductible and $1 per hour, depending on the duration of the leave, the Federal Government said in a press release.
In some cases, employers may also be required to pay out of pocket expenses.
In the case of the $1 million deductible, employers will be required by law to pay a $250 deductible for each eligible employee, the government said.
The program will also provide $2,000 in payments to eligible employers and small businesses, depending upon the length of leave.
