A new leaf that has been found to boost the health of newborns and children has been given the green light in Canada.
The leaf is from the same family of plants known as Fenugrais, and has been shown to increase the body’s immune system.
It has been used to treat malaria, bronchitis, rheumatoid arthritis and more.
The new plant is the result of a collaboration between the Canadian Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health and the University of Alberta.
Its creators are hoping to commercialize the plant in the U.S. by 2019, but that remains to be seen.
