The European football competition, UEFA Europa League, is a global event that brings together top European football teams from all around the world.
There are no national associations involved and so clubs in different regions of Europe can work together and compete on a level playing field.

However in many other competitions, the best clubs from different countries compete in a tournament and this is the case for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
This is the final tournament of the World Cup and is played every four years.
